“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
Some days ask a lot of Israel, and this is one of them. But Israel is not standing on her own. Jesus has already won the greater victory, and He walks with her, steady and unshaken, right alongside us.
Father, we come with hearts full of love for Israel, trusting that You are already with her. Fill the soldiers, guards, and first responders standing watch with steady courage, and keep them safe as they serve. Wrap Your comfort around the families who are weary and waiting, and let them know they are not alone. Remind Israel that the victory is already won and that You are holding her through every hard hour. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
