“The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.” (Proverbs 18:10)
Israel needs a place of safety that does not move. When pressure rises and threats feel near, our hearts turn to the Lord, who remains strong and sure for them. As we pray today, we place them under His covering with deep confidence.
Lord, we bring Israel to You and ask You to be a sure refuge for them in every moment of need. Surround them with Your protection, and keep their cities, borders, and neighborhoods secure under Your care. Strengthen those who watch over her people tonight, and let their work be marked by alertness, courage, and peace. Bring comfort to families carrying fear or grief, and let peace rise in Jerusalem and across the land. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
