“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” (James 5:16)
God tells us that there is something powerful that happens when people of faith choose to stand with Israel in prayer. We are not spectators. We are people who believe that what we lift up before God genuinely reaches heaven, and that Israel feels the weight of that faithfulness.
Father, we come before you today on behalf of Israel, fully convinced that you hear us and that our prayers are not empty words. We ask for your wisdom to rest on the leaders of Israel as they face decisions that carry the weight of an entire nation. We stand with Israel because you called us to, and we trust that every prayer offered on her behalf is powerful and effective in your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
