“The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayers of the righteous.” (Proverbs 15:29)
Today’s scripture is a profound reminder of Christianity’s unique promise that the Lord hears our prayers—a defining difference between Christianity and all other world religions. As we walk with God and are sanctified through Christ, our prayers reach His ears, clothed in righteousness. Our Father in Heaven always responds to our supplications: sometimes with a ‘yes’, other times with a ‘no’, and occasionally, He asks us to ‘wait’, teaching us patience and trust in His perfect timing.
Lord, with this assurance, we come boldly before Your throne of grace today, asking You to bless and protect Israel. Amen.
