“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. (Isaiah 55:8)
One of the greatest challenges of our walk with the Lord is that His thoughts and ways are not our thoughts and ways. However, in Christ and through the indwelling Holy Spirit, we are able to walk in the Spirit and overcome the ways of the flesh. Our prayers should also be guided by the Spirit and not by this world and its desires.
Lord, today we ask for Your guidance as we lift our prayers for Israel. May Your Spirit lead our hearts and words according to Your perfect will. Amen.
