“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)
There is a kind of healing that runs deeper than anything we can see, the kind that mends the heart and makes a people whole again. Israel was never meant to carry her burdens alone, and neither were her families. Today we draw near to her, trusting the One who took our brokenness on himself and still binds up the wounded.
Father, we come with grateful hearts for Jesus, who carried our pain and made a way for healing that no enemy can undo. We ask you to bring that same healing over Israel right now, mending what is broken and restoring what feels worn down. Cover her families with your comfort, and steady the ones who feel the weight of loss tonight. Surround Israel with your protection, guarding her cities and her people from every harm. We love her, we stand with her, and we trust you to hold her close. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
