“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)
This prophecy was spoken by Isaiah 2700 years ago. Two thousand years ago, just outside the walls of Jerusalem, it was fulfilled when our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, gave His life for us.
Lord, we stand in prayer today for our friends in Israel, asking that You strengthen them to complete the war and bring home their remaining hostages. May our prayers build a Wall of Prayer around them, offering protection and peace. Amen.
