“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” (Psalm 23:5)
There are moments when Israel stands in full view of those who wish her harm, and yet God keeps showing up with provision, with blessing, with favor that cannot be explained away. That is not luck or coincidence. That is the faithfulness of a God who does not abandon the people He loves. We get to stand with Israel in that same confidence today.
Father, we come before You grateful that Your care for Israel does not waver when the pressure rises. We ask You to anoint Israel’s leaders with clarity and courage, and to cover her soldiers and border guards with Your presence. Let every family grieving right now feel the nearness of a God who sees them and has not looked away. Pour out blessing on Jerusalem so abundantly that it spills over into the surrounding nations. May Israel know today that she is not alone, that You are her host, her guardian, and her God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
