“Keep his Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” (Joshua 1:8)
Knowing the Word of God, keeping it on our lips, and then doing the will of God according to His word is the key to our walk with the Lord. Today’s photo resonates deeply with me; I was blessed to walk those ancient cobblestone roads in Jerusalem. I sat down on that pavement with my wife, and we prayed together. So today, we pray these powerful words spoken to Joshua for the nation of Israel:
Lord, would You once again put Your Words on their lips and help them to walk in Your ways. Amen.
