“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)
Long before any nation drew its borders, the Word was already there. God’s purpose for Israel didn’t start with a moment in history. It started with Him, before anything else existed, and that same living Word still speaks over Israel today.
Father, we thank You that Your Word over Israel is not new or fragile. It is as eternal as You are. We ask You to remind Israel’s leaders that they stand on promises older than the ground beneath their feet, and give them clarity and courage for every decision they face. Strengthen the soldiers and first responders who guard Israel’s people day and night. Let Your Word, alive and powerful, move through every city, every neighborhood, and every home in the land You have always loved. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
