“Deliver me from my enemies, O God; be my fortress against those who are attacking me.” (Psalm 59:1)
In times of danger and uncertainty, we remember that God Himself is the refuge and stronghold of His people. As we stand in the Wall of Prayer, we ask the Lord to surround Israel like a mighty fortress, to shield her from those who seek her harm, and to be the defender of every innocent life within her borders.
Lord, we look to You as the protector of Israel. Be a fortress around her cities, her families, her soldiers, and her leaders. Thwart every plan of those who seek to attack or terrorize, and expose every hidden scheme before it can bring harm. Strengthen the hearts of Your people in Israel, reminding them that You are near, You are strong, and You do not forsake those who call on Your name. Use our prayers as part of Your protective covering, and let Your peace and justice prevail in the land. Amen.
