“My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior – from violent people you save me.” (2 Samuel 22:3)
Dear Friends on the Wall of Prayer, this cave holds deep significance in both Jewish and Christian history. Here, the Dead Sea Scrolls were hidden for more than twenty centuries, only to be discovered in 1947. These scrolls represent the oldest and most extensive collection of manuscripts related to the Bible. Just as these precious scrolls found refuge in these caves for centuries, let us find our refuge in God.
Lord, we pray that You will be a stronghold and Savior for the Jewish nation in these days, just as You have promised. Amen.
