So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10)
We live in a world that brings fear to millions of people every day. I lived in a country where fear was part of our everyday lives for many generations. The prophet says, “Do not fear!” We often said to ourselves, our churches, and our loved ones, “Do not fear, the Lord is near.” This is what we say to our brothers and friends in Israel: Do not fear, the Lord is near.
