“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)
These words were spoken (prophesied) by Isaiah 2700 years ago. Hundreds of years later, just outside the walls of Jerusalem, his prophecy was fulfilled when our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, gave up His life for us! It is so sad that today most Jews do not accept Jesus as the Messiah, and therefore remain lost. Let us pray this scripture over the nation of Israel today!
