“I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing.” (Ezekiel 34:26)
God promises to make His people and even the places around them a blessing, marked by His favor and care. As we think of Israel, we remember that the Lord knows every season of drought, danger, and need. He is able to send “showers of blessing” right on time, refreshing the land and strengthening the people. As members of the Wall of Prayer, we stand in faith that His blessings over Israel have not been withdrawn.
Lord, we ask You to pour out timely “showers of blessing” over Israel, both seen and unseen. Let Your favor rest on her cities, her borders, her leaders, and her people. Refresh those who are weary, comfort those who mourn, and protect those who stand on the front lines of danger. May Israel be a light and a blessing among the nations, as we surround her in steadfast prayer. Amen.
