“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)
God is not distant from the pain and pressures facing Israel. He is a shelter in days of trouble, a strong place for His people when they feel surrounded and weary. As we stand in the Wall of Prayer, we lean on His presence, not human strength, as the true source of help for Israel.
Lord, we look to You as the refuge and strength of Israel. Be near to those who live with fear, loss, and uncertainty. Protect communities under threat, guard soldiers and security forces, and steady the hearts of leaders who must make difficult decisions. Bring comfort to grieving families, courage to the anxious, and hope to the discouraged. Let Your presence be felt in homes, on streets, and along borders. Use our prayers to surround Israel with spiritual support, and show Yourself as a very present help in every trouble. Amen.
